he's an average coach, who runs a clean program, and isn't going to make waves. Currie got exactly what he expected. Put Bruce in MVC and he's 2nd or 3rd best coach in the league. In Big 12 he's 8 or 9th best coach. Problem is, I don't see any coaches this year as a slam dunk replacement. If I'm the a.d. I put feelers out to Fred Hoiberg, which is a looong shot. If he bites I fire Bruce. Otherwise I bring Bruce back for another year and let his contract expire....
