I have always said that I'm not a fan of Bruce Weber and never was.
But ladies and gentlemen I have a problem with a coach that has never helped his team realize that they are going to be zoned regularly.
I also have a problem with a coach who doesn't not use every expletive imaginable to make it clear to his players that when the 3 point shot isn't working you don't keep taking it!!!!!. And why was Wainright not on the court as much in the second half it I can remember, if he played at all in the second half!!!
I'm tired of this foolishness. It's time. I know GT gives coaches a chance and I know he gave him an extension but this is ridiculous. I said they are NIT but I think that would be the ceiling for this team. Need another coach. The talent isn't the problem, it's the coaching. For a coach to sit there and let a team shoot 3s and they haven't made any all night, doesn't cuss the crap out of them and give some stupid comment at halftime, I'm sick of it. For a coach who refuses to allow another player on the court (Wainright) when Mawien has looked like ass all night, I'm through. Don't talk about they just had a bad shooting night. We have a team with NO BASKETBALL IQ, whatsoever. Just dumb as hell. To keep shooting 3s and you're missing, what the hell.
Enough for tonight. Going back to watching Netflix show. This is crap. Sick of it. Have a good nite.
And P.S., the only way they get to NCAA is 10-8 or 11-7 conference record or win the Big 12 tourney. The non-con sucked and no way are they going to be able to get in any other way for those diehards rooting for this group.
