We are currently using AT&T for local, long distance, and international service. However, I am frankly weary of getting annual notices of rate increases that kick in unless you call back immediately to renew your current favorable plan. We were recently overcharged by $1,000 on our monthly bill due to their new rate kicking in and when we called, they apologized and said we'd see a refund on the next bill. A couple weeks later, they disconnected our phone service of 34 years because this credit had not been processed (and still hasn't). This disconnect happened while I was out of town and our business depends upon inbound phone service. In any case, I'm fed up and ready to move on from these knuckleheads. Ideas on alternatives would be welcome. Thanks!
