Buyer beware. Mid-major success doesn't necessarily equal P5 program success

I am not suggesting Underwood won't be successful, we simply have no idea. No individual on this site can guarantee it. I understand the frustration with Weber. We're all frustrated and pissed. But I would caution those who believed there is a quick fix in hiring the next hot coach from the mid-major ranks. Sometimes that works out and there have been numerous times it has not.

The style of play, experience of players, sense of entitlement of players, resources, conference opposition, etc, etc are all factors in determining success at the different levels (mid-major to P5).

I certainly don't have the answers and nobody on this site has them either. It sure is easy to post comments on here when nobody on this site has the personal responsibility for the success or failure of the program.
