Yes, I know this discussion has taken place before. But I didn't listen then, so now we need to have it again.
The cable bill just keeps going up. I only watch a handful of channels. The kids watch too much TV. The time feels right to seriously explore cutting.
Here's what I'm thinking:
50 Mpbs internet connection: $40/month
Netflix: $10/month
Hulu: $10/month
Other?
I'll probably need a couple good HD antennas (recommendations?) and a couple streaming devices. I have a Chromecast but we're an Apple household so I'll probably look at the new Apple TV. After the hardware investment I estimate this setup will save me about $100/month.
Thoughts? Tips? Advice? Resources?
