i enjoy following recruiting and roster construction for K-State in particular, but also some of our competitors. i used to keep scholarship counts for Nebraska, Colorado, KU, and Missouri. there was a fansite that did a great job of tracking Oklahoma's so i didn't bother with theirs. that was before i had kids and before the breakup of the old Big12. now KU is the only team besides K-State on which i still keep a scholarship spreadsheet. as two major universities sharing a thinly populated state and competing for many of the same limited resources our futures are inexorably intertwined. generally i think that what is bad for them is good for us. know thy enemies, know thy self right?[/QUOTE]
This is the true sense of being a freak and what this board was originally about. Some like @Beastmode call it infatuation, but before all the GOEMAW dudes/transfers ruined Gopowercat with their trolling and tuck talk we would know so much about our opponents in the Big 12 and how our program stacked up. I hate that Nebraska is gone as I considered them our true rival and the program we most wanted to be like. That was then! So in that light....
Please share with me and other oldschool freaks what the hawks have and where they are at on their recruiting current and outlook. Please and thank you!
