Seeing the recent announcement by McCoy, I think is a good get. I remember watching him this fall against Emporia thinking he has talent and athleticism to play D1...admittedly, my thought was on defense.

But thinking back on that game I watched, there were 2 kids that stood out to me other than the Topeka High lineman...the other was the linebacker for Emporia, Nick Kirmer.

Kirmer was named defensive player of the year for the Centennial League, Shrine Bowl selection, and is now ranked #3 in state for wrestling.

Thinking back on other Centennial League talent, Geary, Burton, and now McCoy, I sure hope the KSU coaches contact Kirmer. Perfect walk on candidate from where I sit. I'm pretty sure he has an engineering scholie and is planning on attending KSU...but has offers from jucos and some smaller schools in Kansas.

Anybody on here able to use your connections to forward on his information?
