I like Chad a lot, and think he's a fantastic candidate. But is there any concern that if he came, he would be at the top of OSU's list when Holder retires, which could be very soon?
It would suck to have Chad leave after one or two years and Laird is in an AD job somewhere else then.
But maybe Laird would still come back at that point. And maybe we only need Chad for a year to hire Jim and Steve....
