Just curious if anyone is familiar with how KSU charters flights for their sports teams? I saw something odd here in Stillwater yesterday. I was driving by the airport around 8:15 pm and noticed a large jet parked on the runway. That is odd in itself as Stillwater has no scheduled air service. As I drove closer, I could see Eastern painted on the front of the plane. It was dark, and some buildings hid part of the plane, and then towards the tail I saw the words Florida Panthers and a panther logo.

Not having any idea of what was going on, I checked the OSU schedule and saw that the women played the women's BB team from North Carolina last night. Now, this was a large plane, and could easily seat over 100 passengers. It apparently is the team plane for the Florida Panther hockey team, which I have never heard of. I am wondering if North Carolina has that much in travel funds to spend on jets for their women's teams, or if maybe they have a donor who just happens to own a hockey team. Anybody have any guesses?
