Just got back from a few days in Chicago, and I have a few obervations to share:
1. For those who recommended Lou Malnati's pizza, bless you. It was outstanding. The only caveat is that we got a large for a family of four, and it was WAY too much. One piece of that deliciousness was all any of us could handle.
2. Discovered a really good IPA--Revolution Brewing Anti-Hero IPA. I had several during the week and it is now near the top of my favorites. Revolution is a Chicago brewery--I haven't checked the local liquor stores to see if they carry it but I certainly will.
3. Went to a sports bar in Downers Grove on the second night of the Stanley Cup. What a great atmosphere! What was really cool was when the Black Hawks scored they played a loud horn that sounds like the ones they play in the arena, and the place would go nuts. Great fun.
