This game reminds me of the 2 losses to Auburn. In the first game, every time we ran a successful play, a penalty was called on ou left tackle. In the second game, Lockett dropped a TD pas and we missed 3 field goal attempts. In this one all the receivers dropped passes, we missed a short field goal attempt and we constantly committed penalties that hurt us in field position and a TD.

Choke #1

The OC did not only not prepare a reasonable or creative offensive game plan, he did not have the players mentally ready. He then compounded this with play calling that was worse that that called by Pop Warner coaches.

Choke #2

WR's did not demonstrate any desire to make and win possession on catches. Going into the game, we knew Vandy would focus on stopping the run and the receivers would be 1 on 1 with the DBs.
They did not should up in these individual battles.

Choke # 3

HCBS did not show any effort on the sideline to motivate the offensesive players to do better. His lack of leadership helped to resign the team to Dimel's game plan. I can't believe that Snyder approved Dimel's game strategy.

Choke #4

Special teams, missed FG and a penalty on punt return, also showed coaching issues. K State has prided itself on playing smart football. KState has shown the inability to make key FGS against SEC teams. It also seems the message to not commit penalties has reached Sean's desk.
