Hearing from a few sources that K-State has expressed interest in the Mill Valley athlete, but can only extend a preferred walk-on spot at the moment. There's an outside chance Jegen may earn a greyshirt, but that seems like a low percentage given current scholarship numbers.

Not sure whether that will be good enough for Jegen or not but it's a start anyway. For what it's worth, he's far and away the best prospect I've seen covering high school games on the Kansas side of the KC metro this fall.
