Tom Hayes and Blake Seiler were in Louisiana today for an in-home visit with Tre Jackson. The cornerback will turn right around and head to Manhattan tomorrow morning to begin his official visit on the K-State campus this weekend. Ironically enough, he'll share a flight back with both Hayes and Seiler out of Baton Rouge - great added time for both assistants to have.

Critical, critical prospect for Wildcats to land because I think some major players who were involved in his original commitment have either filled their quota at defensive back or have taken a step back since Jackson tore his ACL midway through his senior season.

I know he's visited South Carolina (during the fall) and Tulane (a week or two ago) to this point. Not sure there are any more on the calendar, so this weekend really does play a major role. Assuming his rehab goes well, and there's ample time for him to recover, there's plenty of upside here.
