Baylor’s season ended yesterday so the meeting with Tang today makes all the sense in the world but doesn’t mean he is our number one choice, or that a deal is done. Brad’s season hasn’t ended and he doesn’t want this search to be a distraction for his players so he has been laying low until he has to. Baylor’s loss yesterday, that makes Tang available immediately, now puts pressure on Brad to say yes or no to Gene after the Illinois game today-win or lose. The Tang as coach decision won’t be made until later today after the Illinois game is over, and after Brad tells Gene yes or no. An Illini loss makes the timing much easier for Brad. Shit or get off the pot. An Illini win puts Brad’s balls in Gene’s vise. Say yes and Gene loosens the vise. Say no and those gonads will forever hurt as Tang leads us back to prominence and Brad loses his chance to come home.
