I thought Cody deserved his own thread. He was mentioned as visiting in the latest recruiting notebook, but it sounds like the paperwork has already been done.
Article in Tyler Morning Telegraph stating that Fletcher has signed with Kansas St.
Cody is a former walkon at Tyler JUCO. He walked-on and Redshirted in 2016. Earned scholarship and a starting spot in 2017. Took that starting spot and led the region in tackles and was named 2nd team all-conference.
He is from the small town of Henrietta, TX which is located East of Wichita Falls in the Red River Valley. As a Senior in HS he was name the Red River 22 Small School MVP.
He seems a bit undersized, but moves well and works hard. I think he could be a beast on special teams and can likely push for time in the future at LB. 3 X 3.
