The Colbert rant of insults is just another example of we as a society often allow different words to be used depending on the originator
- Chris Rock and Samuel L Jackson can use the "N" word 20 times in a routine and there are no issues. If Jerry Seinfeld utters it, the term Racist comes out immediately.
- Candidate Trump used "Lying Ted" and "Little Marco" and got away with it. Senator Rubio says Donald has "small hands" and the media unloads on Senator Rubio.
- The new Democratic head Tom Perez now uses the feces word "Sh**" all the time to great applause by the Democratic Faithful. But if Paul Ryan would ever roll off a string of cuss words the media would pounce on him. (Oh and personally I think Perez is a twit for using vulgarity. It decreases his value as a leader)
- Colbert uses the homophobic joke/insult on Trump and the Trump haters love it. The FCC is now discussing if it went over their red line in the sand. And the left is enraged. But if Andrew Dice Clay had done the same joke on President Obama, Mr Clay would have needed body guards and bullet proof gear.
