Bill Snyder said Kansas State will announce plans this week to collect supplies at the stadium on Saturday during its season opener for residents of Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey. The Wildcats did the same in 2005 to help people impacted by Katrina. The K-State equipment truck will leave this weekend for Texas to deliver the supplies. "It holds an awful lot," Snyder said, asking fans to again help.
On news they say they need diapers and baby supplies most
Flood was worst I've ever seen here in Houston (I was fine, I do know one K-Stater who's home flooded in Meyerland area of Houston).
They are still having to release water from flood reservoirs and rivers are still rising causing more flooding downstream. It now is raining and flooding Beaumont, TX to New Orleans, LA.
