Through some digging this morning by the GPC staff, we have gathered information and have reason to believe that Collin Klein will be moving on from Kansas State, presumably this summer.
One potential and likely destination is Northern Iowa, who is without a QB coach after OC/QB coach Joe Davis departed after one season to take a job at Fordham.
Though it's a tough departure for the Wildcats all around, staff and fans alike, it's a step in the right direction for Klein who will now have valuable experience on his resume at one of the nation's top FCS programs. Sets up nicely for a possible return to Manhattan in a few years when a new coach is hired, especially if that head coach comes from the Snyder tree.
