The question of how Chabastin Taylor faired in the playoffs last weekend was brought up in another thread and I felt it was necessary for an update. Because he's the only one still in action though, there's really no need to do a full article so I'll do the last Commitment Tracker of the season right here.
Yes, I said last Commitment Tracker because Taylor's Giddings squad was beaten soundly by West Orange-Stark, 48-5. In the loss to the defending champs, K-State's Taylor was the lone bright spot for the Buffaloes against a very very tough WOS defense. Running as a Wildcat QB once again, he finished with 100-yards rushing on 23 carries (seen in the photo below).
With the entire 2017 class now finished with their seasons, the overall record of the group this fall was 72-73 (took out DeWayne Betts record after his de-commitment). Taylor and Giddings had by far the best season by a team, while arguments could be made for Wyatt Hubert, Bill Kuduk, Anthony Payne, and Josh Rivas (in addition to Taylor) as individuals who faired best this fall.
