Would like to know why a Saturday open date is necessary. I thought it has been pretty much the norm to have 10 Saturdays and 9 weeknights during the regular season with one of the weeknights being the open date. This year we have games on all 9 weeknights and an open date on Saturday, January 30 after going to WVU on Tuesday of that week. WVU has their SEC challenge game on January 30. Had to be another way to do that. Just dumb that we are assigned to travel to WVU on a weeknight while neither team has a conference game on that Saturday.
Also, home 4 of the first 5 Saturdays that we play, then once in the last month of the season. Where's the balance?
