As best I can tell from a variety of sources, here are the latest conference distribution figures for the P5 conferences. Yesterday's announcement by the Big 12 was phenomenal news. Unless something insane happens, I fully expect the Big 12 average per school to be third, ahead of the ACC and Pac 12 when all of the other conferences start releasing their FY2016 financials over the next few months. That's got to be a huge help in getting Boren to shut up for a while. It also should help stop the insane expansion theories (add UConn! No, add Memphis! No, add UCF! Or even better, all three!!! gag). Hopefully the conference can go a few years without the negative attention from the media now. Pick on the ACC for a while.
