My source in Western Kansas, who is almost always dialed in, confirms that Collin Klein will be our OC going forward and is being groomed to be the next head coach. The big donors believe that Chris Klieman will always be good enough to keep his job but never good enough to be poached (7-5 for life) so Collin will have plenty of time to sharpen his skills.
My guy is also saying that our friends in Lawrence are working on some incredible NIL deals. They, the KU major donors, believe that Lance Leopold is the real deal and if the NIL $$ is available he can bring in high end players. They are currently putting the full court press on some recruits that we should have in our pocket because of family ties. Our big donors, everyone knows who I’m talking about, will give huge for brick and mortar but are way too conservative to give directly to the players.
