Can you imagine the outcry if the Cats had been leading by one point and Svi did his thing to win by a point? It has been tough enough losing the way it played out, but to me it would have been almost impossible to take if we had gone from victory to sudden death. If it had gone to OT, we would not have had DJ and Wes had 4 fouls, but Lucas and Jackson also had 4 fouls for uk so we of course will never know how that would have ended. I coached a HS girls tournament game in 89 where we took a shot that was half way to the basket and went in but was waved off as being too late so we lost by one point. I had the same referee the next night in the consolation game so I asked him if he wanted to watch the "film" of the previous night. He said no, I will take your word that I missed the call. We had some really good officiating that night - hoping for the same at some point in this season.
