Could ala carte TV be end of big TV sports contracts?

Looks like ala carte TV is coming, especially if internet TV gets bigger. This could end SEC TV or B1G TV etc. and limit what ESPN can pay for sports. Can these billion dollar contracts keep climbing? The good news is that sports is one of the few items that people watch live and don't fast forward through the commercials.

ESPN is scared and sueing Verizon for ala carte TV.
