From Jerry Meyer, KSU is a darkhorse in the recruitment of LaGerald Vick. Vick is a 6'5" 180 wing from Memphis (Douglass HS) who had committed to SMU as a member of the Class of '16, but he has since de-committed from SMU and it sounds like there is a good chance he will reclass to '15 and be eligible to play at his school of choice next season.
The two leaders in Vick's recruitment at this time are thought to be Kentucky and Kansas, he is reportedly going to visit Kentucky, KSU, or ku this weekend.
Right now, Vick is ranked as a 3* and the 137th best prospect in the country by Rivals, but by all accounts, he has outplayed that ranking this spring on the AAU circuit with his club Team Thad. FWIW, he's averaging 14 pts, 6 boards, and 2 asts per game in the Under Armor League.
