No one ever mentions this coach as a successor to Bill Snyder. He is from Shawnee, Kansas and went to Drake. He has been on the staffs of two head coaches that have spent time on Bill Snyder's staff at KSU. I believe he was at KU with Mangino and then left there to be the DC for Bret Bielema at Wisconsin. He spent two years as HC for UN Illinois and won big. He just finished his 3rd season at NC State. He was 8-5 and 7-5 these past two seasons. I like the indirect Snyder ties. Thoughts?
