Found out the owners of my daughter's daycare are from Kansas. It's all nice and well when we wear Kansas City Royals stuff, but as of recent days they have been vocal about their support for the jayhawks, so I have been dropping off my daughter while decked in purple. This morning, two of the ladies ambushed me with the rock chalk jayhawk chant on my way out the door. It was planned and deliberate. They were quickly quieted when I told them we will wait until the football game to see who is still talking. I have a feeling our monthly daycare bill might increase next month!
