Read an article from Haskin about Wade. One of the things he touched on was the lack of competition in practice.

DJ rarely practiced last year because of injuries. That left Dean, Maurice, Budke, and McAtee as the bigs on the team in practice.

Two years ago, it was Hurt, DJ, Maurice, and Budke. Again, not ideal. The biggest and most athletic and skilled guys are soft.

No way to get ready for the games when those are the guys you are going against every day.

Hopefully the guys Weber brought in this year with the two frosh and the two transfers translate to good, competitive practices. It just might unleash the aggressiveness and consistency in Dean we haven't seen yet.
