A similar question came up after last years home loss against TCU on whether to go for it on 4th down or take the FG. So we took the field goal and we all know what happens after that. Question was what are the conversations that take place over those headsets from field to press box? Does Snyder veto plays Dimel sends down if he doesn't like what he hears? If so, this will cause a delay.
I would bet everything that the plays come down rather quickly, (whether they are the right play or not) and they get hung up on the sideline with Snyder. Snyders a smart man but in pressure situations.....tick toc tick toc....boom delay of game.
Also, coleman looks to be involved in some capacity of the play calling but not sure how. Just trying to figure out what some of those headset conversations sound like.
Lastly, if we are going to continue this delayed play calling crap then stop huddling up.
