I don't remember hearing much about Newton, so I decided to do a little digging. His numbers and accolades are damn impressive

I really liked "Southern Pigskin's" description of his play: Newton is quick off the ball and plays with solid pad level. But his biggest asset may be his long arms and massive hands; which he uses like an angry Grizzly knocking its prey to the wayside.
I think Newton is a little short of the prototype, so that probably hurt his recruiting, but his stats and accolades are impressive.
What do you all think, is he a player?
