Bill knows how to run a program with a long view while still giving talent a chance. Derricot in particular was by all accounts of anyone who saw him play or practice an exceptional talent but he lacked discipline both in assignments on and off the field. Does this sound like someone on the MBB team? Bill would have never let a Foster poison the pond for as long as he did. Bill has given lots of chances to players but we all know that a second or third chance had a price and Foster would have NEVER lasted a season on the roster.
