WOW... the pitchfork and torch crowd is out tonight.
I hope the national guard is protecting our coaches .. ha ha.

Heck, Bruce Weber is more popular than Bill Snyder & staff tonight.

I agree, it was an ugly game and it was very frustrating to watch ... no doubt about it.
And yes, the WildCat formation needs to be scrapped.... it's not working (at least not with the players and the situations that K-State is using the WildCat).

Do the CATS have a lot of work to do over the next two weeks ?
No, the CATS have a ton of work to do.

Hubener is still very inconsistent, but it was just his third start at QB.
He did make some big passes in over-time.

K-State could have put this game away in the first half, but settled for field goals and fumbled the ball at the 5 yard line. Dropped passes that could have kept drives a live... etc....etc..

LaTech gained confidence through out the game and played very well. La Tech could beat a lot of teams.

Bottom Line: I would rather the CATS play bad and win ... than play well and lose.
The good news, K-State has a bye week to get better.

#1 team in the nation and defending national champs, Ohio State, only managed 20 points against Northern Illinois (20 to 14). Heck, Murray State scored more points against Northen Illinois a week ago.

Mizzery won 9 to 6 at home against UConn (La Tech is better than U Conn).

In short, sometimes you just have a bad day at the office.

I believe K-State can correct things and I still believe the CATS will beat the Pokes in 2 weeks, but I admit, I don't feel as confident about that happening as I did before Saturday.

GO STATE !!
