I was the first person to be critical of John Currie and his method of running off Frank Martin. I was stunned at the way Currie forced Martin out and I believe he did just that. I had grown so appreciative of the Huggins-Martin era that regardless of Frank's disgusting ways I was happy we were back winning and going to the NCAA tournament and I liked that a lot. I finally kind of grew to appreciate Currie's decision because of Martin's courtside attitude and Coach Weber came in and continued that respectability to our basketball program nationally and won a Big 12 title. I never did understand Currie's bringing up the Lamar Samuels thing as we were about to play Syracuse in the NCAA's but this may the one thing that we should recognize with our AD and I think it is a total negative for him with me. Yeah I know all he has supposedly done with getting the program back on solid footing since Wefald-KrauseGate but if he does nothing about this basketball situation then I am really disappointed in him. I doubt he does! There are so many issues with this basketball team

Just one last thing about our basketball program. Weber is not going to make this better next year. This thing is in a mess. Will be interesting to see if Currie acts or lets things just ride and continue to fester. Currie should come under some heat for this hire in my opinion but we'll just see how it all materializes.
