I noticed that some of the players were talking about being disrespected while be interviewed. And reporters were asking why they thought they have been disrespected.
Are the players talking about their preseason ranking to finish 8th in the Big 12?
In all honesty, K-State lost Iwundu (drafted) and DJ, I wasn’t sure how good the team would be either. Plus, Dante Williams and Isaiah Maurice had left the team. Being picked 8th was not outrageous (IMO).

Are the players talking about being a 9 seed in the NCAA tournament?
K-State’s non-con SOS and record against Tier 1 teams did not help their seeding. Unfortunately, K-State’s non-con SOS was hurt by the fact that some of the teams K-State played, had BAD seasons in their own conferences (some bad luck on that front).

Are the players just talking about the media (Vegas) not giving them a chance to beat Kentucky?
Kentucky won 9 of their last 10 games and won the SEC tournament, so naturally, they should be favored. Personally, I think it’s a good thing to be the underdog. I believe Kentucky players are a tad or two over-confident, which “should” be a positive for K-State.
OR
All of the above.
I haven’t felt the disrespect that the players/ media are talking about ??
"IF" K-State is picked to finish in the bottom half of the Big 12 next year, then I would say that’s some disrespect from the Big 12 media (I'm guessing K-State will be picked #2 or #3).
As far as K-State's tourney seeding next year, that’s up to the players and coaches.
GO STATE !
