Since it was asked in the 2023 RB's thread, I thought I'd look a little closer at who is currently 6 man football in the State of KS. With it recently being sanctioned and the rural demographic changes, this will probably gain in popularity again
With the prevalence of the 6 man sport in Texas and Western/Central Nebraska -- we would expect SWK and North West/Central Kansas to have the most as it would allow for cross state scheduling and eliminate travel burden to certain extent.

Northwest/Central Kansas Schools

- Rolla (0-7) Extreme SW Kansas town, maybe an hour or so to New Mexico if you hustle.
- Deerfield (0-7) West of Garden City maybe a little less than halfway to Colorado
- Fowler (3-4) south of Dodge City and a little west. Keep on driving SW for 20 minutes and you'll be to Okiehoma
- Moscow (5-3) pretty much the middle of SWK, directly SW of Garden City, NW of Liberal about 20-30 minutes.
- Rozel/Pawnee Heights (3-5) halfway between GC and great bend as you drive NE gradually. Hometown of Gary Patterson.
- Ashland (7-2) almost a perfect straight shot south of Dodge, slightly East
- Cunningham (9-1, state #2 final ranking) West of Wichita, not quite halfway to Dodge City, just south of US-50
- Burrton (1-6) possibly the most central school in 6 man. a little further south of the state median, and just north of Wichita
Northwest/Central Kansas Schools
- Greeley County/Tribune (2-5) NW of Garden City, pretty close to Colorado border. About 2-3 hours directly north of Rolla who is listed above in SWK
- Natoma (9-0, state #1 final ranking) middle of nowhere NC Kansas
- Weskan (5-3) just barely in Kansas, near CO border. 2 hours NW of GC, 1 hour SW of Colby
- Rexford/Golden Plains (2-7) just NE of Colby
- Almena/Northern Valley (7-3) about as far north- central kansas as you can be.
- Bird City (3-5) you get the picture. middle of nowehre NWK
