Take it for what it is worth but I was told this through someone connected to the basketball team. Marcus Foster and Tre Harris told multiple teammates to throw the Big 12 tourney game because they wanted to go on spring break instead of the NIT. Even told several players to come with them because they booked a place to stay several weeks before. Coaches caught wind of it and after multiple issues(attitude, lack of effort, partying, etc..) throughout the season this was the icing on the cake and got rid of them immediately.
I know what you are thinking....it sounds absolutely insane and unbelievable (because I thought the same thing) but if it is true this how destructive Foster had become within the team. He also had ZERO points for the second time ever.....second time being the game at @Oklahoma St which he was benched.
I think Fitz might know this as well and it is why in another thread when he asked how much of this was on Foster compared to Weber and he said 95-5 Foster. It makes even more sense when you look at some of Fitz quotes... "I think K-State fans need to realize that a lot of things are Bruce Weber's fault, but I truly believe Marcus Foster isn't one of them. This isn't the same young man K-State recruited and who played as a freshman." and "Honestly, this isn't about Bruce or really basketball."
