No doubt that Iowa State will be feeling the pressure to get a win.
Most predicted that Iowa State & OU would give ku a run for the Big 12 title... that ship has all but sailed for Iowa State.
K-State and Iowa State have played similar schedules: OU (on the road), Texas Tech (at home), and Texas (on the road) = same results.
Iowa State loss at home to Baylor and K-State loss at home to WV in double OT.
IMO, Iowa State needs to find another player to give them 8 to 10 minutes a game.
The Clones have only played 7 players in their four Big 12 games. I know we are talking about young men, but it's a long Big 12 season to only go 7 deep.
K-State had 9 players log minutes against Tech (Rohleder did not play). Budke had the fewest minutes = 9.
Hopefully, the students will be back in full force this Saturday and a loud & rowdy Octagon crowd will welcome the Clones.
I'm calling this game a toss-up at I type. But I like K-State's chances if the Octagon is fired up.
