“IF” the CATS finish the season 9 & 8 = 21 & 10
The CATS should be in the dance, but given their weak non-con, one win in the Big 12 tourney would be highly recommended.
A 9 & 8 finish would guarantee the CATS a 500 Big 12 record (over 500 if the CATS lose at Tennessee).

“IF” the CATS finish the season 10 & 7 = 22 & 9
The CATS would be a lock for the NCAA tourney.

The Bad News, there are no easy outs in the Big 12 this year.
TCU & TT are much improved and are dangerous teams (especially on their home court).
OU appears to be down, but the Sooners aren’t going to roll over and play dead.

As for this Saturday, I’m thankful that the ku game was on Tuesday.... gave the CATS an extra day to shake off the heart-breaking loss.

Given the fact that K-State beat the Sooners at home last season and the Sooners are a shell of last year’s team, the CATS should get the win on Saturday. That said, if the CATS are not properly prepared, you can throw logic out the window.

The ku game still feels like a kick in the stomach.
