I first saw the Every Man A Wildcat banner that was high up on the west side of Ahearn when I was 12 years old. We were there to watch my older brother run in the Kansas high school state indoor track meet in 1966.. For whatever reason I thought it was really cool. It was still there for my freshman year of ‘71 - ‘72 but was taken down during the renovation of Ahearn that summer.
Does anyone know what happened to it? Was it just thrown away or is it stored away somewhere?
