I was looking over the Emporia State Basketball Roster and I was surprised to see several D-1 transfers.
Joshua Oswald, 6'7", 225, Jr - Transferred to Emporia State from Miami of Ohio. He came to Miami from Melbourne, Australia. He started 19 games for the Red Hawks as a Freshman. He averaged 3.6 points and 2.4 rebs during his two years at Miami.
Kevin Allen, 6'11", 245, Sr - Transferred to Emporia State from Boise State. Allen came to Boise from Pratt CC. He appeared in 21 games with 3 starts last season for the Broncos. He averaged 3.1 points and 1.7 rebs last season.
Charles McKinney, 6'4", 185, SR - Transferred to Emporia State from DePaul. McKinney was a three star prospect in the class of 2011. He played in 89 career games with 49 starts at DePaul. He was kicked off the team after assaulting campus security guards that were trying to search his room. He averaged 4.5 points and 2.2 rebs at Depaul.
They also return their best player from last season in Terrance Moore. Moore is a 6'2", 170 pound, Senior guard from Wichita. Moore was named to the all MIAA Third Team last season after ranking 4th in the league in scoring and #1 in the league in steals. He averaged 16.8 points per game last season.
I think the Wildcats win by 15+.
