Ertz will be good when it is all said and done. The game is too fast right now for him, and it is visible that we aren't helping him with what we are asking him to do. Lots of indecisiveness with personnel and scheme. He threw a dime to Pringle........dropped it. We catch that ball and we win. Threw some nice passes across the middle on slants that were 3rd down plays. He has the arm talent, just needs to be refined.

We kick a field goal inside the 5 yd line. We score there we win. Easy to blame Ertz, but you have to put a young QB in positions to be successful. Rushing to get the play off every snap is really tough on any QB, much less a first year starter.

Whenever you struggle, it's time to simplify and figure out how to do some important things really well. From afar, we are trying to do too much. Need to get back to basics and develop an identity. We beat Texas Tech next week, and then Texas, and this loss hurts a little less. Should have had it, but have to toss it out, and move forward to next week. Was proud of our defensive effort today. They played their tails off. Holding call on that last TD should have negated that TD. Should have moved the ball to the middle of the field for the FG. Not sure why that wasn't the plan on 3rd and 12.

Most importantly, life moves on. Watched Georgia lose on a hail mary. That sucked for them too. Is what it is. Have to support our young men, they are working hard.
