I open up ESPN, lead story... GameDay Kickoff: Big Ten, SEC show off schedule strength
SEC: 4 of 14 teams have competitive games to open the season (zero actual road games).
Louisville @ Auburn
Bama vs Wisconsin (in Dallas)
Arizona State @ Texas A&M
North Carolina (who has been bad) vs South Carolina (in Charlotte)
4 of 14 = 28%
The Big 10, you could maybe say as much = 6 of 14 teams playing good games (6 of 14 = 43%).
Michigan @ Utah
Wisconsin vs Bama
Stanford @ Northwestern (this should not be a good game)
BYU @Nebraska
TCU @Minnesota
Ohio State @ Va Tech
Big 12 only has 2 good match-ups (but both are road games) 2 of 10 = 20%
Texas @ ND
TCU @Minnesota
I just find it interesting how ESPN is already pimping the SEC anyway they can by saying they have a tough week 1 non-con, when only 4 of their 14 teams play competitive games 28%.... laughable. And they try to lump them in with the Big 10, which does have almost half of their teams playing a competitive week 1 opponent. Lastly, is this a fricking lead story to begin with ??
