Im not sure how the change of the management of this site will go, but I'm excited for something different. Fitz and DScott are great guys but it seemed like the content on this site has gotten stale. I think I have checked this site every day for the last 13+ years and my time I spend on here every day has shrunk year by year.
Maybe it's because I'm 35 married with a kid, one on the way, and busy as hell, but I think there has just been a lot less on this site that has grabbed my interest. I live in California now 2k miles away dieing to hear inside info about what's going on back in the city I miss so much with the teams I love so much. Im excited to hopefully see better recruiting hotboards and I'm still nostalgic about the weekly cannonballs to find out the inside scoop on recruiting. Hopefully the team can get this board back to feeling like it did pre twitter where we all felt like insiders.
Really I'm just excited about what a team of hungry journalists looking to grow their name will have in store for us. I'm excited to see some fresh ideas from Jeffery Martin and Matt Hall who I thoroughly enjoyed their work over the years. For Derek and any others that are brought on, I'm excited about the energy and what will come.
We are starring down the barrel of of a potential great season and I'm nervous as hell. Every time we have the upside potential upside in a season I am a mess for every game. I am stressed and miserable to be around for most every game day. I wouldn't change that feeling of bubble guts during a game for anything. We have the potential to do something special this year. Whether it's 9-3 or 12-0, it's gonna be one hell of a ride and I'm going to be on pins and needles for every second of it.
