So here we are at the end of the 2014-2015 season. It would appear that Currie is hanging on to Bruce for another year. I think even most Bruce-haters would agree that we don't have much choice on that considering every coach should be afforded one bad year every now and then (not to mention Currie's personal stake in Bruce's success). But based upon anecdotal evidence it would also appear that even most sunshine pumpers would concede that a 2015-2016 season like this one should result in Bruce's termination. If you find yourself disagreeing with either of those two sentiments then that's fine but maybe this thread isn't for you.

The question is, just how bad does it have to be for Bruce to lose his job next year? It's a complicated question. If we make it back to the tournament next year it would seem unreasonable to fire Bruce. If our season is as bad or worse than this year then it would seem unreasonable to keep him another year. But if trajectory matters, then if Bruce makes improvement next year but still falls short of the tournament can he keep his job? Should he?
