I get the feeling he's great with coaches, which is what we need the most right now, but I hope he has the vision and charisma to build on the facility enhancements that Currie began. I do love how Currie always thought big unlike most ADs we had before him. It's hard for me to see anything in Gene's past that indicates whether he can keep up in the arms race with other P5 schools. If he can and has the ability to sell the vision to our donors, I am fully onboard with this hire.
