1st of all if you weren't a starter you're now screwed until the KU game. That game was the lynch pin for several back up's to not only prove themselves, but to gain some valuable future playing time. The game isn't all about the starters.
2nd. Currie had plenty of time during the week to move the game back to 11am (which a two year old would of figured out), or play it at 11am today (Sunday). Or........waited it out and finish the game when the weather cleared up. Taking under consideration the game couldn't of been moved at the end of the year or in our remaining bye week.
3rd. Since both coaches agreed to some how, not finish the game, don't pay Missouri State the full game check. I had no idea college football was related to baseball declared official after halftime or through some sort of gentleman's agreement. Why would we care how Missouri State made it to Manhattan, nor what time they were getting home. Ask any basketball players about traveling in the middle of the night. If we went on the road, against another D1 non conference opponent, we would of had to finished that game.
