Converted my league to a keeper this year. We couldn’t keep last years first rounder, and every keeper cost a pick higher than you picked them in the year prior. No limit on keepers, had to keep 2. FA pickups cost your worst available draft pick. Basically that’s all the rules we decided on, the rest as we go.

Here’s my issues:

We have some guys contemplating trades, which is irrelevant now as I just read the deadline was nov 28th. So we are working on next year. Should we allow trades for first round picks? All trades are reviewed by the league. Should you be able to trade your first round draft pick, or a prime keeper player for a first round pick? You wouldn’t be able to keep that player so it would be a steep price to win now.

Second thing is when Saquan got hurt he was cut. I scooped him up and put him on IR thinking I could keep him for a late pick. Everyone agreed then that it was strategy, and with injuries to Run CMC and others and covid I have paid a price to not have my IR slot available. Some of us think we shouldn’t be able to keep any first round picks, others think it’s a strategy game and if you don’t want someone else to get him you should have kept him. I’m obviously a little bias at the moment.
