Absolutely astounding article. EACH acc school is spending 5-7 million right now, to get up to ESPN compliance, so they can launch a network that will be outdated the moment it launches.
too much of the conversation on realignment focuses on the emotions and the BS, while ignoring the actual actions *. It's like people who blame Texas for everything, but fail to realize that Texas stayed (texas deserves blame, but they still stayed)......... and right now, the ACC is pumping money into trying to copy a Tier 3 network model that chases subscribers.
what this really means? The ACC is chasing the PAC to become the most unstable conference. In fact, the ACC could piss off so many of it's members in the end, they could vote to dissolve the GOR. It's insane
* the 4 superconferences is the perfect example. There's never been 1 shred of action that has moved us towards that, but because it was mentioned over and over again on ESPN, people still fear it....
