First Half, K-State rushed the ball 27 times for 177 yards, 6.5 yards per carry, 5 rushing TD's.
Second half K-State rushed the ball 18 times for 90 yards 5 yards per carry, 1 rushing TD.
Only TD drive of the second half was a 10 play drive, rushed the ball all 10 times.
K-State held the ball for something like 23 minutes of the first half. I expected TCU's defense to be tired and worn out, and we'd just keep pounding the ball on them. I know they brought extra guys up to try and stop the run, but why just pretty much abandon the run and throw deep balls.
I only played High School football, but my coaches had an attitude, you run it until they stop it. TCU never stopped the run, K-State just stopped trying.
