It took Huggins the first time, then Walker & Beasley, Pullen, Clemente & Kelly & finally Rodney, Angel, Will & Shane. So, what will it take next year to get the excitement back for KSU basketball. I can't imagine how/what the non-con attendance will be like next year, because there's no one single fan that will know what to expect. Coming in to this year, we thought we knew with Foster, Gip & Nino. But with Nino & Gip graduating, expected transfers from current players & maybe coaches leaving, going in to next year, I think a lot of fans will be very timid or reluctant to get excited.
So again, what will it take? KSU doesn't have any McDonald's AA recruits coming in next year like they did in 2008.
So people are saying that Weber should be fired, but I think we all can agree that that is not going to happen until next year at the earliest. Brad Underwood seems to be the early fan favorite to replace Weber if he is indeed let go after next year. But how exciting of a hire is that really? If he wasn't a former KSU player, then nobody would even pay attention to him.
